O Sapientia – O Wisdom is the first of the "Great O Antiphons" of Advent. I have created an arrangement by weaving together the Gregorian and English Sarum Rite versions of the chant. This is the antiphon for the Magnificat canticle, which is part of the Hour of Vespers. When performed as part of the Advent Music set, it functions as the antiphon for the opening chant in The One Who Is Coming…, which is based on the corresponding Magnificat tone.
